Flex-Hone® tools are flexible, resilient honing tools for inner diameter (ID) surface-finishing. Originally designed to deglaze cylinder walls, BRM ball hones are also ideal for edge blending, port radiusing, cross-hole deburring, and surface improvement. Flex-Hone® tools mount in handheld power tools and production equipment, and require no special training or elaborate machine setups. Versatile and easy-to-use, our cylinder hones are the standard against which all other finishing tools are compared.
NamPower nylon abrasive brushes remove burrs, blend edges, and improve outer diameter (OD) surface finish. Designed for use with semi-automatic and fully-automatic equipment, these high-performance brush tools can replace labor-intensive manual deburring and surface finishing operations. NamPower abrasive nylon brushes conform closely to part contours, feature a special combination of ceramic and silicon carbide abrasives, and use a unique flow-through cooling system that promotes brush life.
Power brushes are used in a wide variety of surface finishing applications, including cleaning, polishing, blending, deburring, and surface preparation. They are available in many different sizes and types, and can be used with handheld power tools and machinery. Major categories of BRM power brushes include wheel, cup, and end brushes. Mini-grinder power brushes, encapsulated brushes, pilot bonding brushes, flare brushes, and adapters for power brush tools are also available.
Twisted-in-wire brushes can remove burrs from hard-to-reach places. These industrial brush tools are also used to remove soot and carbon deposits from pipes, and for cleaning flues, holes, and threads. BRM offers several different types of twisted-in-wire brushes, including thread cleaning brushes, cross-hole deburring brushes, tube brushes, and flue brushes.
Miniature brushes are used for deburring, surface finishing, and cleaning tight spaces and hard-to-reach areas. Available in a variety of brush types and brush sizes, these small but sturdy industrial brush tools are also used for light blending and surface preparation. BRM offers a wide selection of miniature cup, wheel, and end brushes, as well as miniature mandrel-mounted brushes and mini brush tools (including pin vises) for cross-hole deburring.
Automotive and diesel brushes are used for cleaning, finishing, and polishing auto parts and diesel engines. Automotive brush applications include surface conditioning manifolds, deburring engine heads, and polishing holes on machined parts. BRM diesel brushes include general diesel tools as well as specialty brushes for Cummins Group, Caterpillar, and Detroit Diesel engines. Valve guide, oil line and gallery, and display brushes are also available.
Scratch and maintenance brushes remove dirt, rust, paint, and scale. These industrial brushes are also used to clean castings, files, threads, and parts. BRM offers a wide selection of maintenance and scratch brushes, including hand scratch brushes, floor sweeps and brooms, paint brushes, and applicators.
