Internal Tube Brushes for Every Application

Twisted-in-wire brushes remove burrs from hard-to-reach places. These industrial brush tools are also used to remove soot and carbon deposits from pipes, and for cleaning flues, holes, and threads. BRM offers several different types of twisted-in-wire brushes, including thread cleaning brushes, cross-hole deburring brushes, tube brushes, and flue brushes.

Thread Cleaning Brushes

Thread cleaning brushes are used for thread deburring, tube cleaning, de-scaling, and rust removal. Some are also used with tapered screw threads. Thread cleaning brushes have filaments made of brass, steel, or nylon. Some have optional metal adapters.

Cross-Hole Deburring Brushes

Cross-hole deburring brushes remove burrs from the intersections of cross-drilled holes. These reliable deburring tools are designed for thru holes, blind holes, or closed holes and bottom-end applications. Some cross-hole deburring brushes are also used for internal cleaning and surface preparation. Brush filaments are made metal, nylon, or abrasive-filled nylon.

Tube Brushes

Tube brushes or cylinder brushes remove chips, dirt, oil, rust, and corrosion from inside holes. They are also used for thread deburring, tube cleaning, de-scaling, and rust removal. Some tube brushes can even remove soft deposits such as mud or algae from the inside of tubes. Tube brushes with metal mounting stems instead of loop handles can be used with automated machinery.

Flue brushes

Flue brushes are used to remove soot and carbon deposits from pipes, and for cleaning tube sheets. These BRM twisted-in-wire brushes are available for various bore sizes and feature brass, carbon steel, stainless steel, or nylon filaments.
